The new official minimum requirements are higher and require you to have at least a GTX 1060.
Elden Ring: Developer Clears System Requirements – Corrupt Data?
Update from 02/15/2022 – 10:30 AM: The PC system requirements that previously appeared for Elden Ring are gone again. Developer From Software must have made a mistake that immediately upset the community. In fact, Elden Ring’s minimum requirements were so high that some waiters didn’t believe it and assumed these should be the recommended requirements.
So far, the developer from Tokyo has not released an official statement yet. Since the system requirements are gone from both Steam and the network’s official website tests, it’s safe to assume that it was indeed a bug. But it also shows that From Software is already willing to share information with fans. By February 25, the correct PC system requirements for Elden Ring will be revealed for sure.
Elden Ring: PC System Requirements – Memory Hungry
First reported 06/02/2022: TOKYO – In a few weeks, Elden Ring will be up with his load and blasting forward to teach fans around the world how to die again. The new role-playing game from From Software will be released for both old and new consoles and will also be available on PC upon release. As with many current games, the question arises: can a home computer actually handle it? Here we show you the Elden Ring system requirements for PC.
These are the minimum requirements: If you don’t have a PlayStation or Xbox in the form of a PS5 or Xbox Series X, or you’d rather play with a mouse and keyboard, you’ll be glad to know that Elden Ring will arrive on PC at launch. Even better, the game is relatively frugal. But to be on the safe side, here is an overview of the minimum system requirements.
- Minimum Requirements for Elden Ring on PC
- CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K (4x 3.3GHz) or AMD FX-6300 (6x 3.5GHz)
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 2GB or AMD Radeon R9280
- Dedicated video memory: 2 GB
- Pixel Shading: 5.0
- Vertex shader: 5.0
- Memory: 8 GB
- Storage space: 150 GB
- Operating System: Windows 7 SP1
At least you won’t have to turn to the RTX 3090 to get the Elden Ring up and running. Alternatively, a GTX 770 or R9280 is quite enough. Required RAM is also still limited at 8 GB. So you don’t have to worry about upgrading your PC to Elden Ring – as long as you can accept compromises in terms of graphics.
These are the recommended requirements: If you value a nice look and smooth tires a little more, you should take a closer look at the recommended system requirements for Elden Ring. Here, too, we are happy to note that the game will probably work without any problems even on mid-range devices. It may be necessary to provide more RAM, but with the RX 480 in the 4 GB version, it seems to be enough for comfortable gaming. Here are the full recommended requirements for Elden Ring at a glance.
- Recommended requirements for Elden Ring on PC
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K (4x 3.5GHz) or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X (4x 3.5GHz)
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB
- Dedicated video memory: 3 GB
- Pixel Shading: 5.1
- Vertex shaders: 5.1
- Memory: 12 GB
- Storage space: 150 GB
- Operating System: Windows 10
Things to note: However, there is one thing in the Elden Ring system requirements that should cause problems. The game requires a huge amount of hard disk space and requires you to provide at least 150 GB of space. Perhaps this hard drive hunger is due to the massive map of the Elden Ring, which is only 13 percent known from network testing. If you also don’t have an SSD installed on your computer, you should expect long load times with that much data.
Elden Ring: Release on PC – That’s how it is with cross-play
Will there be an intersection? If you want to get Elden Ring for PC, but also want to play with your friends on consoles, we can’t tell you any good news just yet. In the Elden Ring network test, it was previously only possible to play between two generations of consoles (PS4 to PS5 and Xbox One to Xbox Series X) together. From the program neither confirm nor deny full interplay.
