Beside New information to Digimon Survival And the Possible restart From Digimon World, a game that also celebrated a return at DigiCon 2022 that very few people remember. In 2017, it was announced that a new Digimon story game is also in development. These statements were renewed in 2018, and nothing was heard after that.
Tonight at this year’s Digimon Con, producer Kazumasu Habu revealed that this new game is still in development, set to take place in the “digital world” and centered around Olympus XII. Unfortunately, Habu hasn’t revealed more and of course no date yet (via jimatsu).
The Olympus Twelve is a set of 12 Shaman Digimon corresponding to the Olympus deities of ancient Rome and the epics of Greece. They all took their names from the Roman gods. Their abilities were in no way inferior to those of Royal Knights. They protect their own territories, but mostly remain neutral to things that otherwise happen in the digital world.
Thus, the next Digimon story game will be played in the digital world and “Olympos XII” will appear as central characters in the story.
