We live in difficult times when we cannot always do what we want due to external circumstances. Even in 2021, the pandemic has shaped our daily lives and the news is still full of it. Another important topic was the federal election this year, after our former chancellor left office after 16 years. These two topics and many other little anecdotes are covered in the annual Best Images 12 Cartoon Review by many jokers and cartoonists with good humor. In the introduction, the editors say:
