Cyberpunk 2077 PC requirements – Full HD, 1440p and 4K resolution

Minimum requirements:

• OS: Windows 10 64 bit
• Processor (CPU): Core i7-6700 or Ryzen 5 1600
• Graphics card (GPU): GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB), Radeon RX 580 (8GB), or Arc A380
• Random access memory (RAM): 12 GB
• Storage space: 70GB, SSD recommended
• DirectX version: 12

Recommended requirements:

• OS: Windows 10 64 bit
• Processor (CPU): Core i7-12700 or Ryzen 7 7800X3D
• Graphics card (GPU): GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER, Radeon RX 5700 XT, or Arc A770
• Random access memory (RAM): 16 GB
• Storage space: 70 GB SSD
• DirectX version: 12

Recommended requirements for 4K resolution:

• OS: Windows 10 64 bit
• Processor (CPU): Core i9-12900 or Ryzen 9 7900X
• Graphics card (GPU): GeForce RTX 3080 or Radeon RX 7900 XTX
• Random access memory (RAM): 20 GB
• Storage space: 70GB, NVMe SSD recommended
• DirectX version: 12

What does the data mean? “Minimum requirements” means you can play the game at all. This often means playing at 720p (HD) at 30fps and low settings. So you shouldn’t expect too much.

Cyberpunk 2077 system requirements in detail: What hardware do I need?

Do I need an Nvidia graphics card? No, if you just want to play Cyberpunk 2077, you can also do that with an AMD graphics card. However, if you want to use DLSS, you definitely need an Nvidia GPU. However, certain functions, such as Frame Generation, are exclusive to the RTX 4000 series.

However, AMD also mentioned that FSR 3.0 will also be coming to Cyberpunk 2077 soon. Then you can also use DLSS alternative with your AMD graphics card. It is not yet known when the update will come. According to AMD, this should be the case in the fall of 2023.
