Fuerteventura wants to explore the behavior of sea turtles using satellite positioning
Fuerteventura A turtle equipped with a sophisticated satellite tracking device has been released into the sea at Covete Beach. Carlos Rodriguez, Minister of the Environment of Fuerteventura, and veterinarians from FundaciĆ³n Loro Parque were on standby to monitor the launch. The main objective of this initiative is to monitor the behavior of marine animals and study their ability to adapt to climate change. The turtle named Chofe is 15 years old.
