Philips launches two new entry-level gaming monitors in Germany. These are the models Evnia 24M2N3200A and Evnia 27M2N3200A. They are 24 and 27 inches in diameter respectively. The most important technical data, regardless of size, are identical. Both displays have a 1080p resolution and offer a 180Hz refresh rate and HDR10 is also supported. However, given the low brightness of 300 nits, this is just a gimmick.
Interfaces include 2x HDMI 2.0 and 1x DisplayPort 1.4. The technical foundation is IPS panels, which have response times of just 1ms (GtG) at the highest overdrive settings. Additional functions such as Smart Crosshair can also be activated via the software, which aims to make aiming easier for shooters. Different image modes for different game types should also help. For example, there is a separate mode for shooting games, strategy games or racing games.
The Philips Evnia 24M2N3200A and Evnia 27M2N3200A stands are height adjustable. The Philips Evnia 24M2N3200A will be available from mid-June 2024 for 179 euros. The Philips Evnia 27M2N3200A is now available for €199.
