Bad Neustadt – A personal farewell and a look back at the past twelve years: Head of the Electric Mobility Technology Transfer Center in Bad Neustadt, Professor Dr. Ansgar Akva was invited in February.

Former and current professors of the Technology Transfer Center, District Director Thomas Habermann, Deputy Mayor of Bad Neustadt Norbert Klein and Director of the Jacob Breh School, Michael Fimmel, met in the TTZ rooms on the third floor of the Jacob Breh School. The school is in cooperation with the outgoing Rector of the University of Technology Würzburg-Schweinfurt, Professor Dr. doctor. hc Robert Grebner, to say goodbye and look back at the beginnings of TTZ.

TTZ Commander Prof. Dr. Ansgar Akva thanked the outgoing President for his support, saying that the center had developed very well over the past twelve years. There are now about 30 staff there, plus about 20 students who also do research and work. Another sign of the success of TTZ: the professorship awarded to Prof. Dr. The Ackva project, which is jointly supported by companies in the region, the Rhön-Grabfeld region and the city of Bad Neustadt, was recently extended again for another five years and has now been in existence for 15 years.

“The TTZ serves as a role model for other TTZs,” President Grebner ultimately stressed. After an eleven-year break within Bavaria, each region in the main Franconia region was now supposed to have its own technology transfer center. THWS Technology Transfer Centers are currently being established in Hasfurt, Bad Kissingen, Kitzingen and Marktheidenfeld.
