The new Acer Nitro 5 Series gaming laptops are now available: Laptops are equipped with either the latest 12th Gen Intel Core processors or AMD Ryzen 6000 series processors and have NVIDIA GeForce graphics options RTX 30 Series. The Intel and AMD Nitro 5 models achieve an MGP (Maximum Graphics Power) value of up to 150W, thus delivering first-class graphics performance.
Nitro 5: The Unofficial Gamer
The new version of Acer Nitro 5 provides everything gamers need to discover and enjoy the latest gaming titles. With a 12th generation Intel Core i7 processor (AN515-58) and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics unit, both novice and aspiring gamers get the perfect setup to immerse themselves in the game without being bothered by stuttering. Two M.2 SSD (PCIe Gen 4) slots provide ample storage space, while up to 32GB DDR4 RAM with 3200MHz also allows you to work on multiple applications at the same time without any issues. Combined with a QHD panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time, the Nitro 5 impresses with smooth and enjoyable gameplay, on either the 38.1cm (15″) or 43.2cm (17″) screen. For a faster connection, gamers can prioritize gaming-related traffic on their network with Killer Ethernet E26002 and Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i thus reaching absolute maximum speeds.
In addition, the Nitro 5 is also equipped with an AMD Ryzen 6000 (AN515-46) processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPU and up to 32GB of the latest generation DDR5 4800MHz RAM available. When it comes to the display, gamers can choose from two options: the device is equipped with either a Full HD panel with 144Hz or a QHD panel with 165Hz, both of which use AMD FreeSync technology to reduce screen tearing almost entirely. As with the Intel model, gamers can choose between a display size of 38.1 cm (15 in) or 43.2 cm (17 in). Memory is not neglected either with two M.2 PCIe Gen 4 SSD slots (PCIe Gen4 x1 and PCIe Gen3 x1) in the AMD version.
The new generation Nitro 5 also works with Windows 11. The case can also look forward to an update: two fans, an air intake at the top and bottom of the case and four exhaust air connections that cool the device and give it a distinctive look. The performance of a gaming laptop also benefits from this: thanks to effective cooling, the graphics unit can consume up to 150 watts. If you need more or less cooling performance, you can easily control the fan speed via the built-in NitroSense software.
DTS:X Ultra Audio creates a 3D audio experience so that the gaming experience is not only visual, but also auditory. This technology allows players to immerse themselves in the action more immersively, but it also offers them a decisive advantage: not only do they hear opponents approaching more quickly, but thanks to the 3D sound, they can also tell exactly which direction they are coming from. The Nitro 5 also has a lot to offer in terms of connectivity. Support for HDMI 2.1, USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Gen 2 is included in all configurations. The Intel model also has Thunderbolt 4 Type-C connector. AMD certified model has USB 4 type C
