The new Special Edition combines innovative technology with progressive design.

Munich. With the new BMW Exploro Bike Series, the Bavarian automaker brings the joy of a two-wheeled driving experience to life in an extraordinary variety. In collaboration with traditional bike manufacturer 3T, three bikes have been created for a variety of purposes. Their common feature is a unique blend of the latest technology and progressive design. You can choose between a gravel, road and city bike, each also available with an electric motor.

With their expressive design and high-quality components, all new special edition models embody the same passion for performance and superior quality that has always distinguished BMW motorcycles. From gravel bikes to road racing machines to city bikes, all models have high-quality carbon frames.

12-speed gears, hydraulic disc brakes and, if desired, a fully integrated rear hub motor.

The 12-speed electronic and wireless gearing of SRAM’s Rival XPLR group not only ensure precise gear changes, but also an orderly cockpit. Internal cable routing for the hydraulic disc brakes also underscores the crisp, elegant design of the carbon rims, which all come in a modern two-tone finish. While the lower area from bottom bracket to seat height is kept in a darker shade of gray, the top tube and upper areas of the seatpost and fork set accents in the lighter shade.

All six bikes have a modern 12-speed drivetrain with only one 40T chainring. Combined with the cassette spread from 10 to 44 teeth, the drivetrain always delivers the right gear ratio for both steep climbs and fast straights. SRAM Rival hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm brake discs always ensure performance-oriented deceleration. Electric versions of the bikes, each with a Mahle X20 rear wheel hub motor, provide an extra boost in performance. Full system integration and the light weight of the electric motor give BMW Exploro e-bikes a design that makes them almost indistinguishable from their classic siblings.
