The program included, for example, the joint presentation of individually developed applications for human resource work by the Managing Director of Autohaus Mothor GmbH, Daniel Priebs, and the human resource management expert, Katharina Frosch, as well as the mobile computing specialist Martin Schaffoner. Successful cooperation projects in the fields of digitization and online marketing were also presented. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the BraIn – Brandenburg Innovation Award, where ten spunky teams made smart short presentations on stage.

Among other things, the public was amazed by the idea of ​​a regional e-commerce platform for African products, with which student Denis I Fotso Noughe wants to enable interested parties to easily order typical African foods and dishes. The house and therefore the shops in the area can support. On the other hand, Muriel Choupo’s “Happy Student Foods” project is dedicated to food waste and lack of money. Using the app, students can purchase groceries at a reduced cost, which would otherwise be thrown away by grocery stores.

Waste is also a focus for Paavo Günther, who, together with Schnäuz, Wüsch und Börp, reuse textile scraps, sort and process the textiles into high-quality cloth bags, tea towels and serving dishes. Other applicants have dealt, for example, with cloud-based welding simulators, with hiring innovative staff for craft work, with an application for various streaming services or with tracking and influencing dreams.

Ultimately, the two projects “Composite Vision” in the “Startup” category and “DripCheck” in the “Innovation” category won the race, both of which brought the main prize of €3,000 to the public vote. It is a trailer that can check a beverage for knockout drop materials and AI-based material testing method as a comprehensive and time-saving way to check composite materials. The cash prizes have been sponsored by several regional companies for many years. This year, THB was able to welcome new sponsors with Blue Mind Consulting GmbH, The Alternative Board and others.
