Tesla wants to equip its electric cars with Steam Gaming support. The demo should already be available in August.

The company is working on integrating the Steam platform. They are already making “significant progress” and a first demo can be expected “probably next month”.
Exact implementation is still not clear
Some games like “Sonic the Hedgehog 1” or “Cuphead” are already available via the Tesla Arcade entertainment system built into electronic cars. Steam support can now make this option a lot bigger. What exactly the Steam integration will look like is not yet known. It remains to be seen how many games will be supported and whether users will be able to shop on Steam in their EV.

. However, the Tesla boss has yet to deliver on that promise. The planned Steam integration could be an indication that Tesla doesn’t want to make top-tier titles available individually, but via the Steam platform in its cars.
