The Kia Sorento has been a staple in Kia's portfolio as a full-size SUV for more than 20 years. The 4th generation has now undergone a comprehensive update recently.

Versatility has been a hallmark of the Kia Sorento over four generations: it's available with five or seven seats, offers an efficient driving range with plug-in hybrids and diesels and cuts well on the road as well as when traveling on the motorway. .

The new model edition features a distinctively changed appearance, new body colours, an upgrade in comfort and design in the interior including a new color variant and sustainable materials as well as new user-friendly technologies and modern assistance systems.

The choice for driving in Austria is still the standard all-wheel drive hybrid, as are the top-line (252 hp) and the 193 hp 2.2-litre diesel, which is also offered as all-wheel drive. The diesel engine has an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the hybrid version has a six-speed automatic transmission. It combines an electric motor (battery capacity: PHEV 13.8 kWh) and a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine. The 7-year factory warranty also includes the motor battery for electric versions.

There are two equipment levels to choose from, upon request and for an additional charge of €1,000, the third row of seats transforms the Sorento into a seven-seater in the available Gold and Platinum equipment options.

The Sorento Gold is truly fully equipped. In addition to the 12.3-inch navigation system with DAB+ reception, there is a Bose audio system and connectivity for AppleCarPlay™ or Android Auto™, as well as Kia Connect.

The assistance systems have become more comprehensive, including the remote intelligent parking assistance system, as well as the blind spot assistant with display, as well as the 360-degree around-view monitor. The Sorento Platinum also offers 20-inch wheels, alloy pedals, and a head-up display (HUD). The digital key also allows you to unlock the car using your smartphone.

The Kia Sorento 2.2 CRDi in Gold starts at €61,990 including all taxes, with plug-ins starting at €63,990.
