Spatial computerApple Vision ProHe has a unique feature called “Personality”. Quite simply, it's a function that allows you to use a 3D avatar that looks just like you on group calls like ZOOM.

MoguLive's editorial department has already been experimenting with it to see what it would look like.

First, prepare your character. Scan your face using the camera on the front of Apple Vision Pro. All you have to do is open your mouth or turn to the side according to the English audio guide. After that, an avatar like the one below will be created.

(The face is very repeatable and doesn't look weird even when looking to the side or down. You can also adjust the lighting and make the face brighter.)

This character is also reflected in the black screen area of ​​the Apple Vision Pro itself. If you watch the video below, can you see how the eyes blink in sync with nature? This lets people know that they can see their surroundings even when they are wearing a device.

You tried to participate in a conference call via ZOOM.

Now comes the real deal. I connected a ZOOM meeting and presented the character. What kind of picture will it turn out?

I passed! The person on the left of the image above is the Apple Vision Pro character, and the 3D cartoon-style avatar on the right is the person you're talking to (connected to a computer).

It's a little (or rather a lot) scary to have an avatar that looks exactly as if you're participating in a conference call, but since the avatar's facial expressions and mouth movements are clearly mirrored, the person you're talking to doesn't feel like it should look like the person is talking. Gestures with both hands are also displayed, so you can convey your feelings to the other person through gestures. Even when your face is in bad shape, you can still communicate with your face when you are healthy.

Another update was released on April 4, allowing Apple Vision Pro users to view their characters directly in 3D space. You can also connect with each other via FaceTime, talk on the phone, and watch Apple TV+ together. In the future, we may see more and more uses for the character function.
