The new Webex Room bar can turn small rooms and meeting rooms into a powerhouse for creative collaboration. Cisco has equipped the 1080p desktop camera with omnidirectional microphones and face detection for optimum auto exposure, autofocus, and white balance. Other advantages are a quadruple digital zoom, an 8-megapixel image sensor, and an 83-degree field of view.

Developed specifically by Cisco and Google for all Chrome OS devices, the Progressive Webex Meetings (PWA) web application combines the simplicity of web-based technology with the power of native applications for greater flexibility in everyday, mixed work, according to partners. Users can securely join online meetings and webinars directly from the Chromebook desktop in their preferred browser environment. After logging in, they can immediately start their own video and share or record content without opening the browser to enter the URL. This reduces the number of open tabs and enhances focus.
