Mr. Dr. William Miguel and Professor Dr. Peter Simon guest hosts. President Dr. Oliver Locker-Grotgen and Deans Prof. Dr. Eng. Dirk Nessing and Professor Dr. Peter Schultz congratulated the graduates and wished them all the best for the future in his greetings. Lisa Waberg, Alumni Network Coordinator, invited participants to join the network through a quiz, and Bjorn Flokau, the University’s Alumni Survey Officer, encouraged, among other things, to participate in the survey with an entertaining Alumni Survey Contest. .
The Orange Green band – named after the colors of the kidneys and consists of Prof. Dr. Dirk Buckmall, Prof. Dr. Matthias Kroledat, Professor Dr. Niels Ostergaard and Professor Dr. Florian Whitcher. “We’re a country band, but you rock!” They congratulated the recent graduates.
Prof. Dr. Eng. Joachim Gebel presented VDI Awards 2022 to students of the Faculty of Technology and Electronics: Karen Silva Allen for best bachelor’s thesis, to Anmol Singh for best project work, and to Osam Al Husseini for his social commitment. Managing Director Julia Knippes presented the Rhine-Walle University Association Postgraduate Award to Asmaa Amrouza for her bachelor’s thesis in Mechatronic Systems Engineering. Dr. Ralf Wimmer, Managing Director of Niederrhein Entrepreneurship, congratulated Alina Richter for receiving the best bachelor’s degree in 2022 in the Quality, Environment, Safety and Health course.
After highlighting the celebration, and presenting certificates to all graduates, graduates can toast the success with their families, friends, and guests at a champagne reception.
