Registration for DAF Gaming League 2023 continues through November 6 > Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center > News Article

Air Force Division players have until November 6 to register for the 2023 DAF Games fall season.


the DAF gaming softwareadministered by the Air Force Service Center, is a cornerstone of the Air Force gaming community, fostering camaraderie and competition among service members and Department of Defense civilians who have a passion for gaming.


The fall season, already underway, features two new divisions – DAFGL Pro and DAFGL Casual – and includes popular esports titles including Smash Ultimate, Call of Duty Warzone 2v2 and Rocket League 3v3.


“DAFGL Pro is the pinnacle of competitive gaming within the Air Force Gaming community,” Tech said. Sergeant Justin Gautier, noncommissioned officer in charge of the Air Force Esports Division at AFSVC.


“This division offers increased prices, potential qualifications for live events and an increased level of competition,” he said. “It is open to active duty, Guard and Reserve members and Department of Defense civilians who have access to a military base. DAFGL Pro participants can expect a rigorous and exhilarating eSports experience, competing at the highest level while representing the Air Force.


NCOIC said DAFGL Casual is more accessible and welcomes players of all skill levels.


“This section is open to anyone with access to the Air Force Gaming platform, including Air Force fans and civilian supporters. DAFGL Casual focuses on a friendly, inclusive gaming environment, where participants can enjoy eSports without the pressures of intense competition.”

This season’s AFSVC, presented by USAA, launched in October. 21 and includes competitions every Saturday until December. 9, Guthier said.


The grand finals are scheduled to take place in December. 16 and 17.


“With the addition of DAFGL Pro and DAFGL Casual, we aim to cater to a broader audience of players while continuing to provide a competitive platform for our service members. This season will undoubtedly showcase the talent and dedication of our Air Force gaming community.” He said.


“The 2023 DAF Gaming League season promises to be an exciting ride filled with intense esports events, community building, and growth opportunities within the Air Force Gaming family,” said Staff Sergeant Mario Jaramillo, DAF Director of Fitness and Sports Operations, “with USAA supporting Air Force Gaming initiatives.” To showcase more stories within the military community through their video content series like Wingman Wednesdays, Top Plays, and more.
