Apparently, Xbox Cloud Gaming wasn’t the only innovation Microsoft and the Meta had up their sleeves shortly before the end of the year. As our colleagues at Android Central reported, three Microsoft classics have also arrived on the VR platform at the same time: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are now also available to users there.
In addition to Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, and Quest Pro, Office applications can also be used with Oculus Quest. Since all three also run in the cloud, their size is very small at 1.3MB per actor. Android Central has also uploaded a short video to YouTube showing what the Office apps look like in VR operation.
According to colleagues, all three apps are available for free on the Quest Store and only require you to sign in with a Microsoft account to use them. It is also possible to use the mouse and keyboard via Bluetooth.
