MiHoYo announced that the Genshin Impact 1.6 update, Midsummer Island Adventure, will be released on June 9, 2021 for PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
For the first time, the game will feature alternate outfits and a new playable character from Inazuma. Plus, as Teyvat’s world enters the hot summer season, travelers can join Clover and other characters in a host of fun adventures in the distant seas.

In the next update, the story begins when Kelly receives a mysterious message from the “King of the Dodo” who threatens to take her Dodoku bird away. To help Klee and Dodoco, the traveler sails on a boat called “Waverider,” and in search of the mysterious “Dodoland”, he explores a remote archipelago dotted over a remote marine area.
While searching, players’ minds are tested in a series of challenges including an uphill battle with Maguu Kenki. This new enemy can summon ghosts that cause Anime damage and freeze and can only be eliminated in one-on-one battle. By completing these challenges, players can receive Event Coins to redeem valuable resources and a new “Dodoco Tales” four-star boost to fully improve in the Event Store.

Update 1.6 brings new summer clothes. Players can equip Jean and Barbara with new replacement clothing items in the game. The “Sea Breeze Dandelion” jeans will be available in the in-game store at a limited-time discount. Barbara’s “Summertime Sparkle” costume can be purchased free of charge if certain requirements are met in the Echoing Tales event.
Kaedehara Kazuha, the first playable character from Inazuma, will debut in version 1.6. With the strength of Anemo and the sword, Kazuha is a powerful five-star character who can give the team strong control and extra hobbyist. Not only can his elemental damage and his initial hit cause anemo damage and effectively control the enemies, but also cause additional elemental damage when it comes into contact with Hydro, Pyro, Cryo or Elektro at the same time, by triggering a vortex reaction, Kazuha can enhance His teammates are rewarded with elemental damage to the corresponding item.
Inazuma isn’t there yet
Kazuha will also appear in Archon’s new mission. This wandering samurai, who travels with Bido and its base fleet, will give clues to the path to the besieged Inazuma. Additionally, fans were shown more artistic concepts in Inazuma, the third major city of Genshin Impact, and surrounding areas in the latest live broadcast. Inazuma is no longer part of version 1.6.

New features
In order to further improve the current gameplay, new features and improvements have been added to version 1.6, including a new function for the Serenitea Pot, which allows players to invite their own characters to reside in their world. In the player world, characters gradually gain their character’s mate experience over time, and this rate of increase is influenced by the Adeptal Energy Ranking.
