The group stage of the Mid-Season Invitational Championship (MSI) 2021, the League of Legends (LoL) international tournament, began on Thursday (6) in Reykjavik, Iceland. PaiN Gaming represents Brazil in the dispute in Group B. Felipe “brTT” Gonçalves qualified for the competition after winning CBLOL 2021 Split 1. This first stage ends next Tuesday (11), but the MSI final only takes place at the end of the month, on May 23. In addition to pain, Group B consists of Istanbul Wildcats (Turkey), MAD Lions (Europe) and PSG Talon (Hong Kong). The Brazilian national team includes Leonardo “Robo” Sousa, Marcos “Karaoke” Santos, Thiago “Tenones” Sartori, Felipe “brTT” Gonsalves and Han “Lucy” Chang Hun.

The first phase is due to end on May 11. All teams from each of the three brackets face each other with the goal of reaching the top two spots in their groups and advancing to the sixth stage of the competition. Thus, six teams advance in the dispute.
