Microsoft celebrates its fortieth birthday in Germany

Rarely has any other company accompanied and shaped the country’s digital transformation so closely: Als Microsoft The German subsidiary was founded in 1983. With the ceremonial opening of the EMEA Experience Center, together with the Bavarian Prime Minister Dr. Markus Soder, Microsoft is expanding its presence on Isar with a hotspot for digitization, innovation, and the future. There, customers, partners and guests can experience technology up close – through physical and virtual showcases as well as immersive worlds. The EMEA Experience Center in Munich is the first European location for a Microsoft Experience Center and the fourth globally after Silicon Valley, Atlanta and Singapore.

Bavarian Prime Minister Dr. Markus Söder said on the occasion of Microsoft’s 40th birthday in Germany and the opening of the Experience Center: “Happy birthday! Microsoft is a leader in digitization in Germany

The Experience Center will be a space for experimentation, inspiration and collaboration.
