Free-to-play MMORPG “Runes of Magic” celebrates its 15th birthday and returns with new content. As announced by publisher Gameforge, players can look forward to a new endgame challenge on April 25 with “Shadows over the Altar”! In the new immortal edition “Mystic Altar”, new challenges await in ancient halls.
What's new in runes of magic
“Shadows over the Altar” is the second update to the “Timeless” instance series and provides the opportunity to rediscover the ancient cult site “Mystical Altar”. In the case of the Mysterious Altar (Crucifixion), old allies meet old enemies. Seven powerful bosses await players as a tough challenge. The trailer for 'Shadows over the Altar' leaves you wanting more:
the conditions
“Shadows over the Altar” is exclusively aimed at level 100 players and all those who have unlocked the top levels. You also need to complete the Shamar quest “Ancestral Knowledge”.
In groups of up to 12, you fight your way to the top to banish the darkness. But new final boss Aukuda stands in the way, supported by bosses like Razeela, Dorlos, and the Flaming Nightmare, who return stronger than ever at the end of the game.
Rewards
Those who master the Mystic Altar (Steel) instance will receive powerful equipment and other loot as a reward. Each defeated boss drops spoils. In addition, Mystery Chests can be purchased and exchanged with Adventurer Loric for Mystery Accessories.
Runes of Magic is available for free for Windows PC on Steam and on the official homepage.
