Warner Bros. Games, Lego Group and Lucasfilm Games today released the Lego Star Wars battles that combine Lego Star Wars characters, vehicles and locations with real-time multiplayer battles. The game is exclusively available on Apple Arcade, Apple’s popular game subscription service, which offers unlimited access without ads or in-app purchases.
Lego Star Wars Wars, created by DT Games Brighton and released by Warner Bros. Games, combines characters and vehicles from across the Star Wars galaxy to help players create unstoppable troops. Strategy is needed when establishing troops on the battlefield and building Lego towers to destroy enemy bases. Players rule with forces of light and darkness on either side, each having its own style.
“Lego Star Wars Wars is a new way for fans to experience Lego Star Wars gameplay on their Apple devices,” said Jason Avent, studio head at DT Games Brighton. “Easy to learn and play, but it offers in-depth site construction techniques and innovative territorial success for more experienced players.”
With the characters and locations of each Star Wars era, including Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Rock One: A Star Wars Story, players can experience iconic heroes and villains such as Luke Skywalker, Ray, Obi-Wan Canopy, Boba Fed and Darth Vader. Gather with a variety of characters from Porgs, Stormtroopers, Battle Droids and AT-ATs to TIE Bombs to the Millennium Balkans. As players progress and equalize, players open different arenas based on the familiar Star Wars environment, which includes Scarif, Nabu, Hoth, Endor, Zionosis, and more.
