Inauguration of the Diamond Hall of Fame “Tiffany Omotesando” (Public Relations) – WWDJAPAN

Inauguration of the Diamond Hall of Fame “Tiffany Omotesando” (Public Relations) – WWDJAPAN

Tiffany & Co. opened Tiffany Omotesando in Omotesando, Tokyo on September 13. The store is a new store that reflects the brand’s latest design concept, following the reopening of its New York and Ginza flagship stores this year. The store will feature an extensive collection of Tiffany jewellery, known as the King of Diamonds, and will become a “Diamond Palace” that embodies the “diverse forms of love = modern love” that the brand has celebrated so far.

New Tiffany Hall of Fame
A sophisticated space following New York and Ginza

Tiffany Omotesando is approximately 768 square meters and has two floors above ground. As you enter the entrance, the arched ceiling is illuminated by stained glass depicting wisteria, inviting you into a magnificent space. The decoration was inspired by stained glass windows designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany, son of founder Charles Lewis Tiffany. Windows on the façade that extend to the ceiling offer a panoramic view of Omotesando’s lush zelkova trees, creating an open, comfortable, light-filled atmosphere.

The ceiling and fixtures create a gentle curve, and the color is based on soft pink, giving the interior a refined and warm feel. Furthermore, inheriting the brand’s history of being inspired by the beauty of the natural world, floral designs are sprinkled throughout. The flower concept is reflected in the luxurious artworks displayed in a gallery-like manner, the interior décor such as chandeliers and carpets, and the attached private salon. The Omotesando store marks the beginning of a new chapter in Japan for Tiffany, which boasts a history spanning 185 years, and is expected to be a base that can attract a wide range of customers, including the younger generation and foreign tourists.

Represents the brand
Complete set of icons

On the first floor, the brand’s famous collections such as “Tiffany T”, “Tiffany HardWear” and “Tiffany Lock” are lined up. At the back right is an area featuring Elsa Peretti, one of the legendary designers who brought many jewelery masterpieces to the world. The space is outfitted with cork fixtures and mirrors inspired by the organic curves of Elsa Peretti™ Bean Design, her signature work. Space features bone cuffs and an open heart. In addition to these collections, we also have rare jewelry that can only be found here. To commemorate the opening, a display relating to the ‘Heart’, which previously adorned the window of the New York flagship store, will be displayed on the wall. Conveying the rich creativity and craftsmanship that Tiffany prides itself on.

The embodiment of “modern love”
The bridal set is the essence

The second floor is a spacious and cozy space overlooking the zelkova trees of Omotesando, and mainly houses the wedding collections that sparkle with the brand’s signature high-quality diamonds. We have a wide range of engagement rings and wedding rings, including the six-prong “Tiffany® setting”, which was first invented in the world by Charles Lewis Tiffany in 1886.

In the back is a salon featuring carefully selected watches and fine jewelry such as Tiffany Eternity. Moreover, just like in the Ginza flagship store, we also created a section to honor Jan Schlumberger, the jewelry designer who represented the 20th century with his unique creativity and artistry. In a space filled with pyramid-shaped showcases, you can admire bold fine jewelry pieces, including new pieces from Bird on a Rock.

Inspired by Rosé from BLACKPINK
Pre-sale for jewelry all over the world

To celebrate the opening, we were the first in the world to sell a capsule collection, ‘Tiffany Lock ROSE Edition’, inspired by the BLACKPINK rose, our global ambassador. In addition, a new silver collection, “Tiffany Forge”, created to celebrate the artisanal tradition of which the brand is proud, will be on sale worldwide. The design is a reinterpretation of the archive chain in silver, with a bold open link shape that gives it a modern and cool statement. Furthermore, as one of Tiffany Omotesando’s exclusive items, the Elsa Peretti™ Diamond by the Yard™ bracelet was launched, featuring a diamond in the center and a piece of aquamarine in the drop.
