Google introduces 9 new features coming to Android and Wear OS this spring! Android eSIM transfer functionality and expanded OS support for manufacturers other than Pixel-S-MAX

Over the past few years, Google has made frequent software updates and feature additions to Android and Wear OS. As a result, Android is now able to continuously update the product beyond the annual OS version upgrade. More than half of the features added to Android are now available since Android 6.

This means that billions of active Android products regularly receive new and more convenient features. In terms of adding these quarterly functions, this time, in addition to new functions such as quick pairing that will be added to Chromebooks, the following nine new functions that will be available for Android and Wear OS after this spring have been introduced.

(1) Quick pair compatible
With Fast Pair, you can connect your new Bluetooth earbuds and more to your Chromebook or ChromeOS device with a single tap. Also, if you’ve already paired the earphones on Android, they will automatically connect to ChromeOS-equipped products.

(2) A new widget has been added to Google Keep
Google Keep now has a new single notes widget that lets you pin notes, check off to-do lists, view reminders, customize home screen colors and photos, and more faster on all your Android devices.

(3) Google Keep shortcut has been added to the smart watch
Google Keep adds two new shortcuts for watch faces that use your voice to read and create notes on Wear OS smartwatches.
