GfK Entertainment regularly publishes the most successful video games based on sales figures for current consoles and PCs. For the fifth week in a row, there are no surprises when looking at the results for next-gen consoles. A recently published game made itself comfortable right there on “Platz an der Sonne”.
Hogwarts Legacy is still number one
Of course we are talking about Hogwarts Legacy. A role-playing adventure in the Harry Potter universe is beating the competition in the form of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II on PS5 and Xbox Series, despite author JK Rowling’s many debates. And on the Xbox One, on the other hand, a real long-time favorite is at the top. GTA V is still selling like hotcakes after nearly ten years. On the other hand, on Playstation 4, Fifa 23 wins.
Meanwhile, Nintendo Switch is doing its own thing with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Nintendo Switch Sports. Both titles were able to slow down rising newcomer Metroid Prime: Remasterd. However, on PC, the farming simulator remains the best.
