Garmin announced in a press release that the major September 2023 update is now being rolled out to several Garmin smartwatches. As usual, it may take a few days for the patch to be available to download to your Garmin smartwatch. The following hours will receive the update:

Garmin Fall 2023 Update: This is new

Many of the new functions were previously reserved only for high-end models like the Epix 2 Pro.

  • Fish forecasts provide recommendations on the best days and times to catch the most fish possible. The position and location of the Sun and Moon are taken into account.
  • Stamina Score shows how the user’s stamina develops over the months.
  • Hill Score provides information about your ability to run uphill.
  • The Fitness Score uses training and sleep data to calculate how fit you currently are.
  • Anyone starting Pilates, cardio, or high-intensity training will see a new view after the update showing which muscles are particularly stressed.
  • The workout app facilitates training planning and displays completed workouts across disciplines.
  • The Morning Report summarizes your sleep and health data after you wake up.
  • Red Shift mode turns the entire screen red for improved readability.

Garmin GameOn: This is how it works

When you pair your Garmin smartwatch with your computer, you can record gaming activities on the watch and view real-time performance metrics on your computer. To do this, your computer must be Bluetooth enabled. If these requirements are met, proceed as follows.

1. Download Garmin GameOn from here website Down by clicking download Click and install it.

2. Launch Gamin GameOn on your computer. When asked to pair your smartwatch, press the button that appears and select Activity on Watch the games Out of place. Then choose Pair now.

3. Select your Garmin smartwatch from the list and follow the on-screen instructions.

4. Play a supported game on your computer to automatically start gaming activity on the smartwatch. You can find a list of all supported games here.

GameOn will now display your performance values ​​on your computer screen in real time. After the activity is complete, GameOn displays a summary of your gaming activity and information about the game.

Note: While the watch is connected to the GameOn app, notifications and other Bluetooth functions on the watch are turned off.
