The year 2022, with its many crises, brought great challenges awaiting it. But with this Christmas fundraiser, Michael Galistel and his friend Peter Benovich have offered a ray of hope for people who are currently in need of special help due to spells of fate, health problems, or financial hardship. “Through my cooperation with City Center Amstetten, I was able to win a shopping voucher worth 150 euros. Surprisingly, one of my friends won it,” says Michael Galistel with a smile about this coincidence. However, Peter Benovich had other plans for his victory. So, The money should go to people from the area who could use financial support.
This laid the foundation for a great fundraiser. From their own pockets, the two added the sum to 300 euros. Not only friends and other family members took part in the charity drive. “Since we posted our project on Instagram, a number of companies got noticed and also contributed money,” says Michael Galistel, happy for the support. Thanks to the help of Ritt and Velvety Naturkosmetik, insurance agency Franz Reisinger and Disco Excalibur, a total of 1,600 euros has been raised for a good cause.
