The new Beelink GTR7 Gaming is designed as a compact mini PC specifically for gamers and offers a fast Zen 4 RDNA 3 APU with AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS (“Phoenix”), which is already available in 4nm cycles (“N4”) off the assembly line at the contract manufacturer TSMC, in addition to 8 processor cores, 16 threads and 24 MiByte caches, offers a Radeon 780M with 12 compute units, 768 shader units and a clock frequency of up to 2.8 GHz. But the other components of this space-saving mini PC system are also impressive.
Beelink offers a mini PC measuring only 16.8 x 11.9 x 4.9 cm (W x D x H) in four different colors and three configurations. In addition to a stripped-down version without RAM, there are also variants with 2 x 16GB and 2 x 32GB DDR5-5600 to choose from. NVMe SSDs connected via PCIe 4.0 x4 are available with 512 GB in addition to 1 and 2 TB of fixed memory. All memory components come from the critical memory experts.

The mobile APU is configured at the desktop level
In the Beelink GTR7 Gaming, the mobile APU, designed at the factory for efficiency and cTDP from 35 to 54 W, can be found for the first time in a desktop configuration with a TDP of 65 W. In this constellation, the AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX should be surpassed in terms of performance by up to 29 percent with a significant reduction in power consumption, which Zen 4, RDNA 3 and N4 allow.

The eight Zen 4 processor cores are powered by the Radeon 780M with a total of 768 RDNA 3 shaders, which are said to perform 50 percent more efficiently than the Radeon 680M’s RDNA 2 counterpart. As a cheaper alternative, there is a configuration with the AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS, which uses the same GPU and slightly lower base and boost clocks.
