Nvidia GeForce Now: 4K cloud gaming now also on Windows PC and Apple Mac

Nvidia GeForce Now: 4K cloud gaming now also on Windows PC and Apple Mac

Nvidia GeForce can now only be used in 4K on the Shield TV. From now on, Windows and macOS players can also enjoy it.

However, you still need a GeForce Now RTX 3080 driver to get 4K resolution. You will pay €99.99 for six months. You have to purchase the games separately, they are not part of the subscription. Alternatively, you can use existing game collections from connected stores such as the Epic Games Store or Steam via GeForce Now, Nvidia’s cloud gaming offering.

GeForce Now RTX 3080 also integrates ray tracing and DLSS. I already tested the tariff myself and was very impressed. The gaming PC or console can’t be replaced for me due to latency, but it’s closer than you think. Previously only usable on the Shield TV, 4K with HDR will also be available on Apple Mac (Intel and Apple Silicon) and Windows starting this week.

Nvidia GeForce now gets a new flagship plan!
Nvidia GeForce Now includes a flagship class, the RTX 3080.

However, a native app for Windows or macOS is required. So you cannot use 4K via the browser. Also new: 120fps streaming now arrives on other Android devices. In plain language, this is also the Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 Ultra Galaxy Z Fold3, Flip3, as well as the OnePlus 9 Pro.
