Construction It is a real estate company valued at approximately $40 billion. The company presented a 3D printed villa of 202 square meters with integrated parking space, 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms in Dubai.
The house is a villa with 202 square meters of living space, which impresses with unique design elements. For this project, the architects at U+A designed a set of curved walls and large windows, emphasizing the aesthetic and functional versatility of 3D printing. The villa has three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining room and a study.
Particular attention is paid to the integration of Xiaomi Mobile X AIOT products, which include smart home appliances such as vacuum cleaners, air purifiers and cameras. These innovations represent a new standard for smart living in the UAE.
The project reflects Emaar’s desire to consolidate its position as a supporter of advanced construction practices. The use of 3D printing technologies not only allows for faster and more cost-effective construction, but also helps reduce waste and noise. This initiative is in line with Dubai’s Smart City Vision, which aims to achieve 25% of all construction projects using 3D printing by 2030.
Henrik Lund Nielsen, founder and managing director of COBOD, gave an insight into the project: “Given the beauty of this project and the many fine details, we are happy that the building has finally been unveiled. We have been waiting for this since 2019 and we are very proud of this project, which has been implemented.” “Using one of our first BOD2 printers. This project is not just about building a house, it is also about shaping the future of construction. Our collaboration with Emaar demonstrates how advanced technology can redefine life by providing smarter, faster and greener construction solutions.”
This project impressively demonstrates how 3D printing is pushing the boundaries of traditional construction and opening up new possibilities for design, efficiency and sustainability.
