The global DIRT 5 community today has teamed up with Red Bull Revolution Update – now available as a free update for all players * to download. In addition to the various Red Bull-themed items, community-requested features such as cross-stage fit and ghost lap time are included. The new trailer introducing the content can be found here:
Eight Red Bull livers were developed for the six vehicles: the Audi S1 EKS RX Quattro, the Mini John Cooper Bucky with X-RAID, the Peugeot 3008 DKR Maxi, the Volkswagen Race Tourek 3 and the Peugeot 208 WRX. The iconic Red Bull Arch is also included in DIRT 5’s playground mode, which invites players to create, share and explore their own stadiums.
For the first time in the DIRT series, this update also introduced cross-platform fitting. Players looking for open lobbies on Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms * can now compete with each other in both traditional betting and party modes.
Wet and stormy weather conditions are available in playgrounds – extra customization when building stadiums. In addition, with Ghost Lab Hours, another feature requested by the community for Gate Crusher and time trial events is integrated. Ghost Lab Times is a great tool for anyone who wants to climb on leaderboards to brag about friends and the DIRT 5 community.
“We are pleased to continue to build DIRT5 in new and exciting ways, especially with the inclusion of cross-stage matchmaking,” said Robert Corp. “We often ask ourselves which platform the players are upside down fast on – now we finally have the answer!”
