Samsung’s upcoming S22 + flagship with the Snapdragon 898 processor was recently spotted on the Geekbench list.
Obviously, Samsung will launch the Qualcomm processor-equipped model in a select few markets.
Geekbench reveals that Samsung S22 + will have 8GB of RAM and Android 12
Behold, the Samsung Galaxy S22 + has been the target of more rumors after being spotted on the Geekbench list revealing some of its specifications. At the moment, the model seems to be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 898 processor.
More specifically, the Galaxy S22 + will feature the next Qualcomm processor on the Geekbench 5 with four CPU cores running at 1.79GHz, three cores running at 2.5Ghz and one core running at 3GHz.
The same list reveals that the Galaxy S22 + has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 12. On the Geekbench test, the model scored 1163 in single-core mode and 2728 in multi-core mode.
But to mix all the information, the Galaxy S22 + is located on Geekbench with the Exynos 2200 processor, which Samsung plans to release soon and with the same 8GB RAM and Android 12 operating system.
The Samsung S22 + comes in two versions, one on the Snapdragon operating system and the other with the Exynos 2200
So, it seems that Samsung will have the tradition of introducing its smartphone in two different versions, one with Qualcomm processor and the other with its Exynos processor.
According to Leaker Max Weinbach, the Galaxy S22 series, which includes the S22, S22 + and S22 Ultra models, will be released in the US, Asia and Africa with the Snapdragon 898 operating system. In South Korea and other international markets, Samsung will be equipped with the flagship brand Exynos 2200 processor.
Another advanced information is that the S22 series will be available in Asia and Africa, with multiple versions of each of the line-up models. This is because devices with different model numbers were detected for each device (S22, S22 + and S22 Ultra). In other words, these markets can get multiple versions with different specifications.
Keep in mind that Samsung plans to launch its next flagship at the beginning of next year, especially in February 2022.
