For testing purposes, we set up the high-end iPhone 15 Pro Max from Apple's iPhone series, which has a high penetration rate in Japan.

The game that will be tested is “Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile” which was just launched on March 21. This free-to-play Battle Royale game features large-scale battles in which up to 120 players can participate, and features not only operators and weapons, but also vehicles and a variety of maps. I immediately used the iPhone 15 Pro Max and checked the game playback using mobile game frame rate measuring app GameBench. The game version at the time of measurement was 3.3.4. Frame rate is measured during the tutorial immediately after starting the game.

Well, in our measurements, the average frame rate was stuck at around 60fps, confirming that comfortable operation is possible even at the highest image quality settings. The frame rate is stable at 73%, which shows some fluctuations, but the load will likely change as you move in a large field during the game, and the number of characters and objects displayed varies from scene to scene. . The CPU utilization rate is measured at about 164%, and the GPU utilization rate is about 77%, which indicates that the load on the CPU is particularly large.

If you look closely, you can see that the detailed parts have been greatly simplified. However, on the small screen of a smartphone, this effect is difficult to notice.

If you're using the iPhone 15 Pro Max at its highest settings, you should be able to game with very satisfying graphics.

While this game allows you to enjoy graphics and gameplay experience close to that of the consumer/PC version, the image quality presets are automatically scaled down, so you will need a suitable smartphone to fully enjoy the game with high image quality.
