CHT Group presents two new developments of silicone, SilSo Clear 21002 and SilSo Lite 21025 in Düsseldorf.
SilSo Clear 21002 is the latest addition to the CHT line of optical materials. This is a highly transparent platinum treated LSR developed for injection molding of optical parts. With its high transparency and resistance to UV rays, temperature and humidity, this material is suitable for a wide range of demanding interior, exterior and automotive lighting applications. SilSo Clear 21002 is light, scratch-resistant, not yellow. In addition, it is easy to process.
SilSo Lite 21025 silicone foam is suitable for reducing the weight of electronic components and energy storage units. Shape: CHT
SilSo Lite 21025 silicone foam is designed for electronic components and energy storage units in electric vehicles. It consists of two-component silicon that self-expands at room temperature and forms a closed cell structure. SilSo Lite 21025 meets standards for weight reduction, prevention of thermal chain reactions “heat escape” and protection against moisture, dirt, vibration and shock. This silicone foam is well suited when low smoke, flammability and toxicity are required.
