Redmond, San Francisco Sam Altman is currently the most sought-after technology thought leader in the world. His company, OpenAI, has made artificial intelligence (AI) software a daily topic via the ChatGPT voice bot. Thus, it is Altman himself who is the real star in the events on the part of the head of Microsoft, and with him, Satya Nadella.
“We’re working with Microsoft to bring AI to as many people as possible,” Altman said at an international technology conference in February. While OpenAI’s ChatGPT writes entire messages and even books, their Dall-E software can generate images on command that look as deceptively real as photos.
With Whisper, the startup has developed technology that can convert audio recordings into text in about 100 languages. And Altman, 37, wasn’t done with his thoughts.
