In December 2019, Square Enix released the title SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions for the first time in the West. First time because it’s actually an improved version of SaGa: Scarlet Grace, which was released exclusively in Japan in 2016.
There were new and revised graphics, voiceovers, and two characters that weren’t in the original. The game appeared in Germany digitally exclusively for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile devices.
Somehow, Square Enix’s Asian division came up with the idea that the PS4 and Switch versions could still be given a retail version in 2022. Well, why not! It is distributed in partnership with Arc System Works and is available for pre-order now from Play-Asia.
In addition to the cartridge and the stylish case for your Nintendo Switch or PlayStation 4, you will also receive translation texts in English. The games also work with your European consoles.
