iOS 17.0.2 has already been rolled out for the latest “iPhone 15” series, but is now also available for compatible models of iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 other than the iPhone 15 series. Applicable models include iPhone XS and later, iPhone SE (2nd generation) and later, and iPad ( 6th generation and later), iPad mini (5th generation and later), iPad Air (3rd generation and later), and iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2nd generation) (or later), iPad Pro 10.5-inch and iPad Pro 10.5-inch and later can be updated 11-inch (1st generation or later) for free.
Important bugs and vulnerabilities, such as the issue where data could not be transferred directly from another iPhone or iPad during setup, have been fixed, and it is recommended that all target models be updated. Please note that security fixes do not include vulnerabilities recorded in CVE.
