YouTube channel DIY perks It has already attracted attention several times with its exceptional creations for PC. In 2021, for example, a massive water cooling system with a blower was shown, and in 2023 a gaming PC with immersive cooling was shown. However, the latest version focuses on an unusual form factor: the entire hardware, including keyboard, mouse and curved display, disappears into a thin tabletop.
Exceptional construction
The fact that tabletop computers have disappeared is nothing new – corresponding products are often offered by manufacturers for housing. But what's new is that all input devices can also disappear on the tabletop. For this purpose, a central area has been provided on the table top that can be lifted with magnets. As a result, the screen folds out and the resulting gap is automatically closed by another panel on which the keyboard and mouse are located.

The corresponding mechanism is shown in the video – it consists of invisible hinges, linear guides, tension springs and gas pressure dampers. Using a curved display in a relatively flat installation space is made possible by the bendable OLED display – Corsair Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240. This can be bent during operation and therefore – when flat – requires little space.
A lot of effort has also been put into the installed hardware. The “inner shell” is made entirely of aluminum, in which an Intel Core 19-13900K, a Geforce RTX 4090 and a flash NAS are installed along with twelve M.2 SSDs with a storage capacity of 4TB each. This structure would later be concealed with panels of oiled oak. Only the back remains open, where the cooling system is located across the entire width. Several aluminum coolers from the server area as well as matching axial fans – which protrude from beneath the table top – are installed there. This means that the built-in water circuit is supposed to remain at the same temperature without making any significant operating noise.

The end result is an exceptional build that removes the entire computer from view if necessary, leaving only a smooth table surface. Given the effort that goes into it, your gaming PC will likely remain invisible for once. Plus, there's at least one weak spot in the audio system. Because the sound is only played through flat speakers, which will weaken in the low frequency range due to lack of volume.
