We’ll need more patience…Source: Studio Wildcard
For all the nighttime albums still waiting for the release of ARK: Genesis Part 2 on June 2, we have bad news. As developer Studio Wildcard has just announced, the “automatic certification process” for the new ARK update will take a bit longer.
In a tweet it says that the ARK Genesis update will only be released on June 3
Genesys Part 2 is currently finalizing the automated certification process.
We expect this process to be completed early in the morning, so we will be launching simultaneously on all platforms at 8AM ET on June 3.
We thank you for your patience and support. It would be worth it!

It also means: All ARK fans can still treat themselves to some sleep, because we probably won’t be able to expect the release of ARK: Genesis Part 2 until Thursday (June 3) around noon.
Fans don’t just react with understanding
What a day to wait, after all, the Genesis Part 2 update has been delayed many times in the past, right? Yes, one could argue, but a lot of fans are pretty angry. If you follow the responses to Studio Wildcard’s tweet, you’ll find plenty of resentment about the renewed postponement. Even if Studio Wildcard dismisses the guilt and points to the adoption process, you can probably understand the outrage. Steam, Microsoft, and Sony are running too slowly or the update is sent too late.
Whatever the reason for the renewed delay, the studio isn’t particularly popular among the waiting fans who have been looking forward to the day.
