From the “Citizen Collection” registration label, a total of 4 limited models are now available in collaboration with popular Universal films, based on the popular Ana-Digi Temp model. Pre-orders will begin on October 21, 2023 at participating stores (including EC locations), and will go on sale on November 16.

The “Ana-Digi Temp”* is a retro-futuristic design that was introduced in the 1980s and is still very popular today. With its unique design that includes a temperature sensor function and its impressive size, it is both an analog and digital watch that can be used by both men and women as a unisex watch. This “Citizen Collection” record label is based on Ana-Digi Temp, Universal’s famous movies “Back to the Future”, “ET”, “Jurassic Park”, “JAWS”, etc. Jaws)” and four models will be available in limited quantities. Each logo is engraved on the back cover, and a limited edition special box and card are also included.

“Citizen Collection” RECORD LABEL is a line that brings together unique Citizen models and proposes new ways to enjoy watches. The word “record” in the name refers to the record of designs that Citizen has created so far, and the meaning of enjoying your time as if you were listening to a record in your favorite space, it is included.
Now, let’s take a look at the characteristics of each of the four models of the Citizen Collection registration mark.

Back to the future model

The stainless steel case and straight band express the image of the shiny object of the “time machine” seen in the film. The indices on the metallic silver dial also use a font reminiscent of a “time circle,” a device that determines the time of a destination within a time slip. The design pays close attention to details, such as the second dial, the “RADIOACTVE” marking on Doc’s brown suit, and the “OUTATIME” license plate on the plate at the bottom right of the case.

The design recreates the emotional climax scene exactly as it was. The case and band are black, evoking the feeling of night, and the dial depicts the silhouette of the main character, Elliot, flying through the night sky under a bright full moon with ET in his bicycle basket. The silhouette of trees is printed to give a sense of depth, and the title logo is placed on the plate at the bottom right of the case.

Jurassic Park model

A scene in which a dinosaur revives again in the modern era and is rampaging in a park covered with greenery and in modern ruins. The design pays close attention to details, such as the cracked Jurassic Park logo and the lines on the dial that have been rubbed off in places. A “WARNING” logo is placed on the panel at the bottom right of the case to warn you not to enter.

Jaw model

This model uses a red and black silhouette to express aggression that instantly turns sea blue red. The seconds display subdial features an indicator reminiscent of a shark’s sharp teeth, and the intricate handle of a riflescope used to target a shark. The panel on the bottom right of the case has a “JAWS” title logo that has faded.
