Dusseldorf ChatGPT is like an overconfident apprentice: the program completes tasks quickly and presents results with the tone as if it had written a dissertation on the subject. However, when professionals closely examine the work, they often discover inaccuracies and errors. This limits the possible uses.
Despite these weaknesses, the latest generation of artificial intelligence (AI) on which ChatGPT is based offers great potential for business. Large language models can draft emails, summarize business reports, answer customer complaints – and much more.
But as with the apprentice, the following applies: If it really matters, the experienced person should always check the score afterwards.
The productive power of these programs can only be harnessed if AI systems like ChatGPT are able to let their imaginations run wild. It’s about turning an overconfident intern into someone with realistic self-evaluation, who will tell you when he doesn’t know what to do anymore.
