2nm technology secured by TSMC

This development comes after Apple's success in integrating 3nm chips into recent iPhone and Mac models. The move to 2nm chips is expected to increase the performance and efficiency of Apple devices. With increased transistor density and improved speeds while using less power, future generations of Apple devices, starting with the iPhone 17 Pro, could see significant performance improvements.

2nm and TSMC's role in Apple's chip strategy
