Mission Control’s role is roughly described as “organizing and switching windows” and “expanding the desktop”. This may not be a good idea, but it is not difficult because you can understand it intuitively if you actually touch it.

There are different ways to start Mission Control. To use the keyboard, press the Mission Control key assigned to the “F3” key, or use a key shortcut[control]+ key[↑]. A useful thing to consider is the “Group windows by application” setting in the Tasks Control Panel in System Preferences. When this is enabled, windows will be displayed together for each app when Mission Control starts.

Open the Task Control Panel in System Preferences and check the Group windows by application.

You can easily expand the operation space

To create a new virtual desktop, simply launch Mission Control, move your cursor over the top right corner of the screen, and tap +. After that, a thumbnail called “Desktop 2” will be added at the top of the screen. Click it to display the newly created virtual desktop (Desktop 2) on the screen.

What’s convenient when you build multiple desktops like this is that you can organize the applications (windows) used for each desktop. When working in a workspace, only the windows in that workspace are displayed.

You can create up to 16 virtual desktops, so try switching apps to display for each desktop, or separate desktops for work and private use so that you can use them efficiently.

To move between desktops, start Mission Control and tap on the desktop thumbnail displayed at the top, or short the key[control]+ “← (→)” key, or three fingers (four fingers). Fix the arrangement of virtual desktops

By default, the setting to automatically sort virtual desktops is enabled, and virtual desktops containing windows of the most recently used applications are automatically sorted so that they are on the left side (except for Desktop 1).
