Today I would like to introduce you to Michael Lindenberg’s thriller “Deadly Signs”.

At the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, a professor of philosophy was practically executed with a hemlock. Chief Inspector Phoebe Zoe Walker – nicknamed B – takes over the case and gets help from her old friend, Dr. Johannes Schwartz, whom she met as a personnel consultant and hobby philosopher. Her usual place is the Wise Café in Düsseldorf.

The first investigation ended in bewilderment. All available data about the professor was deleted from the university and its libraries, and the police headquarters were also hacked. But this is just the beginning.

They had no idea what powers they would face. Both will face mortal signs that they will have to solve it together. A dangerous hunt begins, in which the hunter becomes the hunted hunter and the hunted …
