While Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 (PS5) owners enjoy the advantage of not having to worry about hardware requirements, PC gamers can now get an idea in advance if and at what level Diablo 4 will be available on their current gaming system. It will work. The minimum requirements are relatively humane. According to Blizzard, Windows computers can only get stuck with hard disk drives, dual-core processors, and integrated graphics cards.
Modern mid-range gaming PCs will probably be able to render Diablo 4 smoothly with high detail in classic Full HD (1080p) at up to 60 frames per second. According to the developers, Intel Core i5 / i7 or AMD Ryzen 2000/3000 processors plus 16 GB of RAM and graphics cards in the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT performance range should be enough.
Only Ultra’s system requirements for 4K “Outstanding Graphics Settings” make us sit up and take notice. For this, Blizzard writes at least 32GB of RAM and a GPU in the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT performance class. Better yet, a newer model of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series to take advantage of DLSS3 (upgrade).
