“Xbox Game Pass Core,” an upgraded version of “Xbox Live Gold,” will be available starting September 14, 2023 (Thursday).

Xbox Live Gold is an online multiplayer service that has been available on the Xbox platform for over 20 years. “Xbox Game Pass Core” is the evolution version. Subscribers will continue to enjoy online multiplayer and will be able to find their next game from a selection of game titles.

• If you subscribe to “Xbox Game Pass Core”, you can get benefits such as many sales and discounts.
• With the introduction of Xbox Game Pass Core, Games with Gold will be discontinued on Friday, September 1st.
• If you’re still an “Xbox Game Pass Ultimate” or “Xbox Game Pass Core” member, you’ll still have access to previously redeemed Xbox One games with “Games with Gold.”
• Xbox 360 titles previously redeemed through “Games with Gold” will remain in the player’s library, regardless of plan.
