The messenger plans to expand the functions of society even more. In addition, new groups can be created soon via the community button.
WhatsApp is one of the most popular messengers for exchanging text and voice messages, photos, videos, and more with family and friends. WhatsApp communication is becoming increasingly popular. In many parts of the world, the service is already being used to process commercial inquiries and payment transactions. Recently, Meta messaging service has already rolled out new features for voice messages. In the near future, it will be easier to create and communicate in group chats via the messenger.
According to preliminary information from the meta messaging service, WhatsApp communities could soon function similar to Slack organizations or Discord servers. Different groups can then be grouped under one topic and made available to all members.

WhatsApp Communities were first registered at the beginning of the year – and now more information will follow via the WABetaInfo screenshot, which is also shared by social media expert Matt Navarra on his Twitter account. Screenshot of WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.22.9.10 shows a new group icon to the left of the chats overview. The icon indicates a shortcut for creating communities. A description of the communities is also provided:
Communities bring related groups together. Any community you create or are added to will appear here.
Based on information that has not yet been officially announced, the Communities tab may replace the camera icon on this site yet. When the new feature is rolled out, it is likely that the camera will be placed elsewhere in the app rather than disappearing from WhatsApp completely.
As of now, the community feature is still under development, so users will have to be patient. If you are interested in testing the new feature beforehand, you can still try to get a place in the beta testing pool on the Play Store. Alternatively, you can also get the latest version of APK Mirror.
