Wandlitz: Last Friday, the famous vocal group “The Young Tenors” performed at the Cultural Theater “Goldener Löwe” in Wandlitz. From the first title they captivated their audience.
The audience applauded with the first piece and marveled at classics such as “O Sole Mio” or “LA Donna e mobile”. All three men gave an absolutely solid performance on stage in the evening with a great mix of skill and entertainment. They were supported and accompanied by pianist Simon Berg, who created an individual piano celebration of each number. The group's leader, Elijah Martin, led the program in an entertaining and informal way and also provided small insights into the artists' private lives.
But The Young Tenors isn't just worth listening to as a trio. First Carlos Sanchez won the hearts of the audience with the phrase “You have all my heart”, and later Matthias Eger melted their hearts with his sensitive song “Besames Mucho”. Elijah thought of a special surprise. One of his highlights was bringing on his wife, opera singer Jasmine von Broncken, who not only provided variety in her solo as a femme fatale with “My Lips, They Kiss So Hot,” but also with an intimate Elvis love duet with her husband. Or in the fiery finale of La Traviata where everyone provided a change of atmosphere.
Whoever was there will come back and whoever wasn't should come next time! The Young Tenors are and remain worth a visit!
