Today, photographer and graphic designer, Johann Boulet has been in love with the automotive world since his childhood, traveling from circuit to circuit to see the most beautiful mechanics in France. One of the tracks does not leave him indifferent, the Magny-Cours track.
I got feedback from all sides, and I got pictures of families playing there. It is really heartwarming.
But the global pandemic curbs his passion. Containment groups and long days to be spent. He had an idea, to create a game with an image of what he called the Eiffel Tower in Nevers, the Magny-Cours racetrack.
“I had free time. At first, I played console with my siblings. In order not to do that, I came up with the idea of making a game that we could play together. I was inspired by the 60s, the golden age of Magny Core in my opinion. I made a model and showed The game is on friends.
goose game
His game operates on the gooseberry game system, but instead of the traditional pit that pushes players back just before the finish line, it’s baffling or technical failure that stalls the player’s progress. “The game is really simplified,” Nivernais modestly advances. “The plateau takes the same path as the circuit. I put the mannequins online so a few interested parties can run them,” the enthusiast adds.
Thirty thousand downloads
Very quickly, the game was shared by car enthusiasts in the four corners of France, reaching nearly 30 thousand downloads. “I received comments from all sides, I got pictures of families playing there. Johann Polit says proudly.
For the future, Nivernais wants to develop his game and give it a more realistic dimension. “I thought about origami models.” If marketing isn’t on the agenda, he intends to continue developing and figuring out his game.
At the moment, the game is no longer available for download. The servers they host were destroyed in the fire that affected the OVHcloud data center in Strasbourg.
