Indiana Jones is back, with the fifth installment releasing a trailer and a new title: Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
Film star Harrison Ford reprises the role of the adventurer in this sequel, directed by James Mangold and also starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Ford has played the genre-defining character four times previously, in Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), Temple of death (1984), The last crusade (1989) and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), all directed by Steven Spielberg.

In addition to Ford and Waller-Bridge, Destiny tablet stars Antonio Banderas (Pain and glory), veteran franchise owner John Rhys-Davies (Raiders of the Lost Ark), Shawnette Renee Wilson (Black Panther), Thomas Kretschmann (Das shoes), Toby Jones (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom), Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Oliver Richers (Black Widow), Ethan Isidore (Mortle) and Mads Mikkelsen (Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets).
The film is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and Simon Emmanuel. Steven Spielberg – who passed the directing reins to Mangold for this iteration – is an executive producer alongside George Lucas.
John Williams, who scored every Indy adventure, again composes the score. The movie was released on 30th June 2023. Here is the teaser poster:
